Darkened Broadsword of the Champion is an excellent choice for levelling prot-specced warriors around 62-65. I've used it with much success, your death-rate drops drastically as you are basically a trash-tank without need of a healer.

Get this if you can, and spam Slam like nothing else.

Seriously, this model is totally badass. Wish that Blizz had saved it for a better weapon.

What a great looking model, it does make you try to figure out a way to make this item a functional choice to equip. Truly this model deserved epic stats/quality. I rank this right up there with https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=33478 as one of the best looking weapons in game.

I have to say when I saw this sword on a random death knight passing by. It reminded me of a certain other sword.
The Brotherhood, from Final Fantasy 10. The weapon that Wakka gives to Tidus.
Striking similiarity. Except that it doesn't have the fancy water bubbles. That would have totally meant that the model of this sword was taken from Final Fantasy 10.

Saw someone with it today. Even though I am level 70 I still want it: it looks so damn cool! This is the only green item which looks so cool that I know of. Normally only blue items look cool while greens are average.

Awesome Looking Sword, I'm glad I bought it from AH, I also have Fiery Enchant on it and looks really good. Just looks cool having it equipped, don't even care about using it in battle anymore.

Saw that sword at SW & I'm like, "Whoa! Thats the blade Wakka gave to Tidus! Whoa!". Lol, it had a icy on it too... looks so bad a**. Gotta get me one. Too bad its a world drop though.

Mine dropped off some ogres in Zangarmash. its on the AH as of 1/26/08 on Kirin Tor, Horde. pst eklon if u want it and u cant find it. It may have been taken down.
