Things to watch out for for either faction, the horde and alliance towns are quiet close to each other, getting ganked is not uncommon here on a Pvp server.

A great grinding zone from level 30 and up depending on your class.

There are cross faction patrols that walk along the roads to be careful of, and Arathi has terribly hard Elite quests that teach you about teamwork early on within the game, as this is one of the only areas where you cannot solo most of the quests.

Arathi was also home to the first human capital, called Arathor (League of Arathor being the Alliance Arathi Basin faction). It then slowly fell apart and seperated into numerous city states, such as Strom (Now Stromgarde), Lordaeron, and Stormwind.

If your a hordie watch out for the humans on horseback that wander the road close to Stromgarde. They can be a nasty surprise if your not careful.

Great place for leveling 30-40.
Tons of quests, some great elite quests (Stromgarde) for both factions.
As well as a ton of Humanoid Mobs that give great cash returns if grinding is your kind of thing.

Watch out on pvp servers. tends to be a play ground for 60 gankers or farmers due to the elemental ( farming crests for the warrior whirlwind weapon quest ).

Also in the water below this place in the sunken ships there is rare spawn named Prince Something lol but either way he is a naga with a very long respawn time that drops an awesome stunning trinket. Note /target Prince macros help alot, be prepared o wait forever his respawn time has been known to be 24hours +

also a great thing to do in this zone is herbing. herbs here range from the low 100s to the upper 100s with khadgar's whiskers. if you look hard enough (lake near the troll place) there are 4-5 khadgar's whiskers and liferoot at a time. great place to level the herbs =)

The area you can see on the map that "seems" inaccessible called Faldir's Cove has lots of big-bonus quests ... in the range of avg 3200XP or so . I SWAM THERE lol three times by going off a cliff by Thandol Span or swimming around the shore from Hilsbard/South Shore. On one swim back I took a short trip up a hill to the east of the shipwrecks ... and found a tunnel that leads to behind the Stromgarde Keep ... only a few lv 37 buzzards/condors along the path out block the way! You end up in the area Circle of Inner Binding. So there IS a shortcut after all!! You can eventually make your way around to the road in front of the keep! Hope this helps someone!! That is ONE LONG SWIM!! :)

Just in case anyone was curious, the area all the way on the east side on the other side of the mountains (around 92,67) has a random Dwarven farm there with two Dwarven farmers wandering around. If you talk to them they act like guards for Dun Morogh (telling you where the Inn is at and etc.)

To get to Faldir's Cove you have to behind stromgarde at 29,65 and then go to a cave

i went there with my lvl 32 pala and there were nothing but a silver ! for me :( also the mobs near the cove is 37 - 39 so i guess thats the lvl for the quests ...

once patch 2.3 is released, the stromgarde keep area in this zone will now have non-elite mobs instead of elite mobs

Why don't the battleground portals work? And, for that matter, why doesn't Blizzard take them out, and when DID they work? I would appreciate some help on this one; It would be quicker to zone into BGs rather than use the battlemasters. ty :O)

Just in case some people are too lazy to read the above comments...

To get to Faldir's Cove run around Stromgarde Keep (left side, if you're facing it) and keep running until you see a tunnel entrance. Run through the tunnel and you'll see a sunken ship and that's when you're get credit for finding Faldir's Cover. Guess Faldir was a crappy navigator or something and dashed his ship upon the rocks.

For youre achievement to discover the world concerning arathi highlands the only hard to reach place is indeed faldir s cove. when u go behind stromgarde keep u can walk al the way to the back and there will be the cave mentioned before. Coords for this place are: 21.75

You may not want to fall off the bridge that leads into Arathi Highlands cause there is NOT a way that I have found that will get you out of the water besides continuing on to the Raiders or just hearthing out.

Arathi Highlands, is by far the best place to farm Iron. When i needed lots of Iron while i was lvling my blacksmith, this was the place i went straight ahead. From hammerfall, follow the mountain side all the way down to the bottom of the map, and enter all caves you get by, also the one close to the alliance camp in the middle. you can easily get 2 stacks per run, and i have seen Truesilver, and even Mithril ores spawn. If you want iron, Arathi Highlands is your choice!

As a huge fan of HammerFall (the swedish power/ heavy metal band), I have the story on how HammerFall showed up in WoW.
First of all, it is interesting to note that what's his face Didier (I think) from Blizzard does HammerFall's album art, so that would STRONGLY suggest the reference to the band. I forget what with sadly, but HammerFall did something with Blizzard, and yeah, here we are. The cove entrance to Faldir's cove is not really located east of the keep. You'll have to follow the eastern wall untill your completely south of the keep. Then keep walking behind the keep untill you see a crack in the wall (see this screenie). If you then face the south you should see the cove entrance (see screenie). Haven't tried to get trough the castle and jump from the crack, that might be an easier way though

You can begin questing here at lvl 30 no problem. Maybe even a few levels earlier.

Enter Stromguard Keep ,take first right avoiding RED mage. Go thru entry with GREEN guards and follow path to right. After crossing a bridge turn right into some greenery . NPC is in front of you : ) You should have NO fights ,unless ya want um : ). BTW the RED mage is NOT alone !

Hammerfall is a horde town, Stromgarde is a quest area/auntlet with an alliance-friendly area in it.

Horde: Go to Tarren Mill (not Tauren Mill) and go east.

Alliance: From wetlands, go to the bridge and go west.

The level to go here is around 30-38

Hammerfall is the Horde town.
Refuge Point is the Alliance town.

They both have portals to Arathi Basin.

Or almost anywhere.....any ore hotspot that can support tin, iron, or mithril can potentially 'spawn' as a silver vein, or gold for that matter.

That being the case, Arathi is one place where they can be fairly 'common', same can be said for 1000 Needles (especially around the Shimmering Flats) and the Charred Vale in Stonetalon Mountains, as well as Desolace.

I have seen silver veins in Tanaris, the Barrens, various low-mid range dungeons, Duskwood, Silverpine Forest (the undead cave near Ambermill is a good spot), Westfall (especially that one mine near the coast - almost due west of Sentinel Hill), Ashenvale, Azshara and so on as well as those mentioned above.

Just keep your eyes open, and they will come up sooner or later.....in the meantime however, tin and iron can get your skill up while you look for silver :)

3 dwarfs 2 rams,2 buildings, and 2 farms (that look odd on the mini map) are there. its definitly worth you time. also their is a naga looking area north of the plauge lands,but no npcs'

After you finish the quest with all the circles, Fozruk (lvl 42 Elite) must be killed. I killed him with my warrior friend (lvl 39), TUGOR. I am a 44 Priest. Fozruk has three guys with him. We had to kill each henchman then run, then finally face Fozruk when he was alone. I suggest a bigger group.

Has anyone else noticed stormgarde is totally jacked after the last patch update? Some of the stormgarde defenders don't move but somehow can attack with melee combat from across the map, phantom guys attacking you that you can't see unless your minion is fighting them (see them indirectly through your minions actions), the cavalry leader respawning along with his whole patrol the moment you kill him? This place is totally hosed, I recommend avoiding questing there.

There is a spot on the eastern coast i could only get to by waterwalk potion. after i got there, it would not descover. Any ideas on how to get this descovered and why its there?

There are 2 dwarf farmers, a stable w/ rams, and 2 fields. There also is a boat dock.

Where is this place? The quest itself saids that the location is Northwest of Refugee pointe but, all i can find in that derection is North hold Manor or something like that ... please help , thank you

I jave been there yesterday. My level 35 hunter was dead within seconds, no time to "feign dead" also. Was being attacked by 3 x ? level (elite). So watch your back overthere.

More East than anything else from the South exit of the Refuge Point Griffin Rest.

However, if you go South you can take roads pretty much all the way there.

That is where it is, starts some quests.

This area is a good location to make some fortune: the Hammerfall Grunts (lvl 32-35) always drops anything about 15 silver...

I found the cave by going a little bit south of 82,36 (where the cave is) and following the little path behind the tree.

Why are the mobs here not listed? They include the Syndicate Pathstalkers, I believe.
