These are a solid upgrade to Gift of Nadun, the only other decent non-raiding necklace out there.

They will also work as a decent tank necklace in a pinch. Not bad for only 3 days (about 2 hours total) of work.

Skip the repgrinds for the necklace, just do the dailys and get this bad boy.

Considering that most of the T11 content necks had poor itemization concerning hit (Save for Caelestrasz's Will), this is a fine first step to upgrading your tanking necklace for T12 content. The Firebound Gorget, which drops from trash in the Firelands, is obviously a superior alternative due to the mastery and stamina jumps, while the Stoneheart Necklace seems to be your best bet until the heroic version of the Gorget (May still even beat the Gorget for avoidance, but at that point in raiding you'd almost definitely know this OR may not even require the parry compared to expertise for threat).
