Considering it's a charger, I wouldn't be surprised if this was a celestial version of a paladin mount.

Edit: Apparently this was a placeholder for the upcoming Tyrael's Charger, which will be awarded from signing onto a special offer one-year subscription plan.

This could be Tyrael's Charger from the WoW Annual Pass promotion, since there doesn't seem to be any files currently about Tyrael's Charger.

Edit: Prior to 4.3 PTR Build 14899 This was called Space Charger, and was finally changed to Tyrael's Charger.

A little warning to those of you looking to get this mount: If any suspicious activity has taken place on your account (Like you've been hacked) and Blizzard "can't do anything about it" you are ineligible for this mount. I know this because somebody used my account to recruit somebody else via recruit-a-friend and wouldn't ya know it, that other account is suspicious and as a result I cannot get this mount regardless of not initiating this transaction. Thanks Blizzard.

This mount is a reward from Blizzard's World of Warcraft 'Annual Pass' promotion. Eligible subscribers get this mount as well as a free copy of Diablo III. The name of the mount is a reference to the Diablo II NPC Tyrael who is the Archangel of Justice. Tyrael acts as a questgiver in-game. This mount has the gold armor and shining tendril-wings of Tyrael's character, and it will be sent to the subscriber (and "all present and future characters on the associated World of Warcraft account") upon implementation of Patch 4.3.

To me it sounds like They were going to go with a Starcraft like mount or something then decided to go the Diablo way instead. The info is correct that it is from the annual pass.
So if you want this mount, free Diablo 3 game, and access to MoP beta I would hurry and sign up (that is if your eligible) since this offer is for a limited time ( I asked a question on the CS forum and got one of the blues to reply, sounds like once they have an official date for Diablo 3 the offer for the annual pass will end)

Since the name has been changed and for the ppl who didnt see the previous name, the mount used to be called Space Charger before it became Tyrael's Charger. Just wanted to clarify that for those that didnt know.

Some players have been reporting that they haven't received Tyreal's Charger. If you signed up within the past 72 hours, it may take that much time for your steed to show up in the mail.

If it's been over 72 hours, then it's advised you contact Billing for additional assistance!

I'll be honest. I'm a bit tired of all of the horse mounts in this game. I got this mount, tried it out then switched back to my regular one. I won several of the Alliance RBG mounts and sent them all to my Horde toons because the wolf is so much better. Would like to see some more variation for mounts.

Appearance-wise this Tyrael's Charger mount isn't too shabby. One thing that impressed me was that this armored mount is QUIET. Finally a quiet mount! So instead of the wings or roars of your flying mount warning an alert faction enemy to your presence before popping out and killing them, now this mount allows sneaky stalking of PvP prey. Excellent!

Downsides? Nice wing movement, could flap more. Legs somehow look dead when this thing flies, unlike the Celestial Steed which personifies the mythical Pegasus from Clash of the Titans in spirit form and appears to be charging through the air.

Some people have reported that they didn't recieve the mount when the servers came up. Be patient, and try relogging regularly.

Edit: I don't know about the US realms, but this is occuring on at least the EU realms. Seems like they were a little late distributing them.

My only complaint is the fore-right leg while flying and hovering. Looks like it's been broken and put back together at an angle. It takes some realistic movement away from the horse and in general looks derpy.

Other than that minor aesthetic issue it's a lovely mount :) I've been neglecting my Dragonhawk all day in order to appreciate it to the max. Has nice subtle animations when standing still, nice colours and the sounds it makes are pretty cool.

This mount looks retarded. The wings don't change their animation regardless of whether it is in flight or not, but the worst part is the stubby little legs. It looks like a shetland pony.

Considering the fact that this mount is essentially a recycled version of the celestial steed - I'm really unimpressed. First of all wow is cartoonish - there is NOTHING wrong with this fact. Personally going from EQ to wow several years ago I found the fluidity in the graphics a welcome change of scenery.

However, it does make the fact that watching this horse run and noting the OBVIOUS flaws in the mechanics of how a horse moves intolerable. Its legs are all wrong - they were all wrong for the celestial steed as well - they didn't bother to try and fix for this. Anyone else notice that one hoof that bends on the celestial steed while running? Maybe I'm anal, maybe its that I grew up riding horses - but if a cartoonist can get it right why can't the developers for this game?

Tyraels steed running - the wings keep flapping - this does not work in any capacity involving logic. And can we talk about those wings? and that tail? and just /facepalm

FAIL model for a mount - should have 86 it after the celestial steed - you already had a working model with the charger why go and make it less realistic? If you're going to recycle old models to cut time ATLEAST pick the best looking model. Little to no detail on the face. Legs like effing tree trunks - have you looked at a horse lately? Happen to notice the shape of their legs?

Just lazy - lets be honest.

I signed up for that mount too. But after using , i realized it has poor animation when flying , riding. Main modelling is good anyways.

I'm not sure if this Charger is the cause or not, but I recently decided to go through a delete some characters off my account that I knew I'd never level up. However, I got the message that I could not delete them because they have an heirloom or some other item in their bag or storage that prevents them from being deleted. As far as I saw when going through them this Charger was the only thing that could be considered and "heirloom", but there is no way to delete a mount. Anyone else having a similar problem?

This is an awsome look for Tyrael's Charger

I have just submitted a screenshot of my Warlock using Shadowy Potion that was acquired from within the Burning Steppes from Gorzeeki Wildeyes. As far as I know Shadowy Potion is a Warlock class only potion.

Edit: I am guessing that they will not post this screenshot no matter what! I have entered a few different ones and as of yet, still no picture of Tyrael's mount with the Shadowy Potion imbibed on this page! Come on WowHead, "Please, will you let this 1 go through"?

Would rather mount Tyrael.

I loved this mount to begin with because I love Tyrael & it's a nice looking mount, but since the thing has a hit box the size of a small ocean every time you ride up to a quest giver in one it just makes me want to hurt you a little and I end up liking it a lot less, just saying.

It seems that this mount is sent to every character created on account. I wandering if it still be sent after annual pass will end.

It's nice that Tyrael's Charger got different model than normal horse but it takes so much space on the screen that I prefer to use different mounts and his animation is wonderful but my computer don't like it so much.

For anyone still questioning if it's available, No. It was only for a short window of time. If you missed out on getting the pass...then I am sorry.
The mount is pretty unique for being a promotion item and even with a majority of the population having it, it's still a nice mount to ride upon.

Also, do you think we can put this item as no longer obtainable?
