Got this Rune on Fenris Isle in Silverpine Forest. Find found on the corpse of . Equip it and kill the Gnolls and the rune will drop from them. It only took my like 7 gnolls.

Found this rune by killing the shark in Ratchet. Go to the edge of the bridge jump into the ocean and find the shark bellow near a sunken ship.

For Alliance:

Go to Loch Modan, approx /way 34.0, 77.9 Stonesplinter Valley/ . Fight the Trogg's in this first area. You will then loot a Skull-Shaped Geode. Take this item over to /way 36.3, 79.5 Stonesplinter Valley./ Fight a Stonesplinter Skullthumper to 'crack the geode' open. You'll then get the Rune.

I'm really having a lot of trouble with this rune. I looted Gillsbane and have had it equipped, and I am not exaggerating I have killed over 1000 murlocs, spent HOURS here. I finally gave up and tried the troggs in Loch Modan; same thing, I spent HOURS killing troggs, no geode dropped. Went to Darkshore and harpooned Paxnozz and killed him about 20 times, no rune. I was advised to delete gillsbane, did the same thing, killed paxnozz 10x, no rune, went back killed 500 troggs, no geode. I want to just reroll at this point.

If you're having issues getting this rune from Paxnozz you might have the Skull-Shaped Geode in your bag or bank.
Make sure to destroy this item in order to get the rune from Paxnozz.

To obtain this rune in Westfall
First you need to kill Defias around Westfall to obtain one handed mace Gillsbane :
Killing few Murloc's while Gillsbane is Equipped can drop you Soul of the Sea :
This idle can be Activated with :
When you activate it LvL 20 mob will summon:
Killing that Mob will drop you the Rune for Quick Strike :

To make it simple :
1. Kill Defias to get Gillsbane.
2. Use Gillsbane to kill Murlocs and get Soul of the Sea.
3. Go to the Medusa statue at (26,70). Interact with it and a level 20 mob will spawn.
4. Kill the mob and you get the Quick Strike rune.

How To Acquire Rune of the Sniper (Hunter) & Rune of Quick Strike (Warrior)

-Head to Ratchet
-Talk to Kilxx. He's near the entrance to the docks, standing in tall grass next to a short fence.
-Purchase a Fishing Harpoon for 5s.
-Run straight off the end of the dock and continue swimming due East.
-Not far, you will see a shipwreck at the bottom of the seabed.
-Swimming above the shipwreck is a level 20 elite shark named Bruuz.
-Throw harpoon at Bruuz, this will give him a DoT which drops his health quite a bit.
-Defeat Bruuz and loot your rune.
(hint: don't forget to breathe)
