This is the QUEST provided by to start of one of the quests inside Gnomeregan, rewarding at the end.

First, you need to get the , which is a quest item droped by Dark Iron Dwarves inside Gnomeregan (Dark Iron Ambassador, Dark Iron Agent)

Right clicking it begins , that requires you to clean the ring using The Sparklematic 5200, located at the Safe Zone of Gnomeregan where the Friendly NPCs can be found.
After cleaning, the machine will give you a small box neatly wrapped with a red bow, containing for next quest.

After, you'll be lead to your capital city:
(Horde), Orgrimmar to speak with Nogg
(Alliance), Ironforge to speak with Talvash del Kissel

Both NPCs has their own faction version of the same quest, requiring 1x Silver Bar + 1x Moss Agate and
(Horde)
(Alliance)

Rewarding the same huge stamina ring

The Brilliant Gold Ring you loot becomes a Grime-Encrusted Ring that looks exactly like a healthstone.
Be very careful not to delete it as you can't restore it and might need to abandon the quest and pick the ring again.

[You have uncovered what appears to be a ring from the corpse of one of the Dark Iron dwarves. It is difficult to tell what kind of ring it is, however; dirt and hardened residue cake the item completely, making wearing it impossible. You think you can make out the slight luster of precious metal and maybe even the glint of a gem under the residue.

If you are going to make use of this ring, you are going to need to find something to get the hardened residue off of it.]
