Drop rate seems much higher than shown, possibly because not all gathering players are on quest. Very easy to get 5.

Dropped around 33, 44 for me. Very easy to kill, medium drop rate.

And for me it was very tough to get them, killed 20 before getting my first one. So it clearly must vary, or Blizzard just hates me....

Drop rate shown is not accurate as with most quest drops. That rate includes those who kill mobs without the quest and can't get the drop.

Drop rate for me was closer to 40%, 10 min quest easy.

It drops from the skithian mobbs, but drop rate is like 5% or something...

Remember that Thottbot is also recording the droprate of the people who don't have the quest which means that the actual droprate when you have the quest is alot higher than it displays.

i killed a couple of them, they dropped one, killed a couple more, no drop, then i got 4 dropps in a row... :)

5k hp, sometimes they crit me 600 and its rlly hard to kill... havent finished Q yet but i killed 2 nothing dropped.

theres WAYYY to much pats there so prepare to pay some money for repair and get really mad at the time it takes to complete this

Actually my add-ons registered its drop rate as high as 30% for both kinds of mobs there.

Actually the casters are melee and the non-casters are ranged, so u cant kite them.
The droprate is about 30% doesnt matter which u kill. And the patrols shouldnt be a problem if u use your brains...just use them.

(just dont stand in the middle of the camp, pull them out of the camp a bit)

Pretty easy quest i got 1 every 2 or 3 kills and good quest to go with the arokkoa feather quest

i think that this quest is a complete waist of time ive killed at least 100 and i made sure that its the right mobs and i only have 3...as i sed total waist of time

Just because someone gets the quest items faster doesn't mean he has higher drop rate.

Something can have 0.00001% drop rate but it could still drop every kill. A droprate doesn't change, it's all about how lucky you are.

Oh and, stop whining about not getting the quest items like insanely fast, because the more time it takes to get them > the better it is for you. Last time I checked, mobs gave XP. ;)

this quest is really time comsuming :( so far i've killed bout 8 guys and only got 1 stolen goods! thats a poor drop rate! So i guess all the other comments bout it having poor drop rate is so damn true :)

Well I jsut zoomed through that quest even tho i didnt have it drop everytime i sware i killed about 30-40 guys and got my 5 but i had help from a mage and a warrior... pretty ez just get a group and overthrow the Aroakka. =)

Lathrai's Stolen Goods is a quest related item - you need to collect 5 to complete A Personal Favor quest.

Make your way to the southwest of Shattrath to Veil Skith area. You need to leave the city through the eastern passage and follow the road to the wastes area.
Turn to the west and follow into the forest, you should spot several arakkoa mobs, all of them drop Lathrai's Stolen Goods - drop chance is medium.
