Have a question, didn't see anything related to it so I'll ask.
When I create a raid group with a friend and enter, I get some text that I've disrespected the Gurubashi Empire and some other stuff, and the get the "You will be ported to (Insert Hearthstone Location Here) in a minute" message. Do you need a partner in the instance with you to actually go through everything? Hoping that's not the case, but it seems to be.

the best way to do this is have a friend login an alt then once you form the raid have him alt+f4 it will make him look disconnected. this will let you keep the raid group and him off to do other stuff

I liked this raid it was my firs raid i ever did and it was so fun but trying to get around is hard and most of us got lost.

How to put yourself in a raid with your own alt:

1) Get someone to invite your alt to a raid
2) Alt - F4 / Task Manager / Close the game abruptly to disconnect your alt
3) Log onto your main
4) Get the person to invite you to the same raid as your (now disconnected) alt is in. He can now safely leave and continue with his life.

Just get a friend to do it, it takes about 4 minutes.

IMO one of the best instances Blizzard has designed for WoW. I ran the hell out of ZG back in the day. Love it. Never got the raptor to drop.

Trying to 5 man ZG with 5x lvl 60s. We are wearing only the gear we are able to obtain just the 5 of us. (Meaning we are mostly geared in blues and few crafted epics - NO tbc gear). To our surprise we have been able to clear most of the instance, including all the priests and Mandokir. However it seems we have reached our limit now, as we are lacking the damage to bring down Hakkar before he enrages. (Mandokir for instance took us 18 minutes to kill). This is sad, since we are actually able to do well against Hakkar until he enrages.
Classes: Paladin, Warrior, Druid, Rogue and Shaman (All lvl 60).

Btw, can easily recommend doing something like this, its a great way to reexperience vanilla raids, and the fact that you can use the gear that drops just makes it all the more appealing. (The same thing can be done in AQ20).

first 3 boses were pretty good shapeshifting mid battle makes you have to think...would be great for building MC preps for small guilds...4th boss the troll he is hilarious we died to him 15 times cause he was so fun...he kills you has you rezzed by ghost in the room and kills you again and lvls every time he kills someone. hits for 10,000 we saw once, and shouts out DING and dances and cheers when he lvls and calls out your name when he is about to assassinate you. great zone.

Dropped on 2nd Boss! 60 Shaman so can't wait to get the other half of the set!

Shaman and Druids are very usefull in here....Druids can roots and Shaman have the poison Cleansing Totem!

If you can stop the 200damage evey 2 secs from the Naga venom spit you'll be doin yourself some favours!

1)Have a main tank pull her down from the ledge. Give him some time to get aggro.
2)Have a mage counterspell.
3)Have a hunter use Viper Sting and a Priest use Mana Burn on her. Keep doing this everytime the debuff comes off. Her mana will drop fast.
4)Keep the DPS going.
5)When she summons the bats, have the main tank stay on the Priestess, while everyone else focuses on AoEing the bats. If a bat strays, have the person who is being targeted run back into AoE range.
6)Continue this until she turns into human form. 7)During this form, everyone needs to get back and let the main tank take the hits. You dont want spellcasters in range of the Priestess's AoE.
8)Keep the main tank healed at all times.
9)Keep everyone spread out. Watch for her bombs or whatever they are. If you see something fall, get outa the way...
10)DPS her to hell!

We went there with ZG gear and have done first 5 bosses so far. We went to look at thepanther today but didn't have enough people to sustain the constant panther attack.

I guess I'll post sone tips since I got some from here too.

Bat - easy right now, next patch you'll actually have to fight her call-bats. As for now, just pull her pass the tree and she won't call bats. Then just dps her down while interrupting her heal and draining her mana. When she calls for arial attack just spread out and stay away from the fire while you keep the dps up.

Venom - MT tank him while everyone else is out of range since he has "arcane explosion" attack. sheep/sleep snakes adds and pull them out to kill one by one. THen get on boss having most people hit from range. Melee can be done if they bandage them self and dont' die like a moron. At 50% he turns to snake. Same thing except he now does poison cloud instead of arcane explosion. MOVE away from cloud FAST each time you see it. Other than that just tank it and dps away.

Spider - We use MT and Off-tank puller. People don't like ping pong tanking since everyone has to move and it interrupts healing. First off, drain her mana. WHen she's in caster form just MT it and range dps/heal. Off-tank just stand by group until she turns to spider and nets the MT then runs to group. At which point everyone should stop attacking and let the OT taunt and pull her up to MT. MT will taunt asap (when net is gone) and continue to tank, while OT goes back to group. When she is a spider, it's usually ok for melee to attack too, just watch your hp. One more thing, when she is in caster form, she summon spiders. Just kill it (or them) first then continue on her. She calls 4 spiders when you start, then 1 at a time for a while. at 50% or so she calls 4 more spiders while in caster form. One last thing is everyone should try to interrupt her when she drains hp or she will heal a ton.

Bloodlord - We kill the raptor first. THen heal MT faster since he will hit harder when raptor dies. If you get "watch", DONOT gain his aggro (don't heal, don't hit and try to not use DOT if you don't hae too) or you most likely will die and make him stronger as you raise. Just do constant DPS while MT tank and keep death low and you can win. He has aoe whirl wind so people need to watch HP.

Tiger - as the guy mention before, kill the adds while 3 tanks tank the priest and zealots. We have an extra tank (4th) on the rogue to taunt when one get gouge. Drain mana, interrupt heal and take them all down to about 10% then AOE them all. After that he turns in to a waretiger and constantly summons more tigers. We don't know what the cap is but basically MT tank and everyone heal and attck from max range. All melee help kill the tiger summons. When MT loses aggro everyone stop attack and let MT take it back. everyone move away from MT at all time because he has aoe attack.

Panther - we only had 15 people and weren't able to fight him. I think we'll take him down next time for sure. From what I read and heard, you just all out dps on her when she's around and aoe all adds as long as you can. When you get overwhelm just start fearing, nova, etc while you take down the priestess.

Hakkar - Someone help with some tips please =P

i assume to do this instance you must be lvl 60 mebe 58 but noones posted how many party members are needed, if you need to do anything special to get into this instance(key quests ect.)or what kind of gear is recomended. obviosly not full epic but will the blue set for your class do?(shadowcraft, magistrates, etc)pleese repst i would like to win someepics in zg.

oh and also is this a guild only kind of instance? or do people actually lfg ZG? how hard is it to get into most ZG guilds?

The "last" boss is Hakkar, to kill him you have to drop the 5 aspect priests around the instance. Snake, bat,spider,panther,tiger(drops a tiger mount). There are 2 other main bosses Bloodlord Mandikor (who drops the raptor mount) and Jindo the Hexxer. In addition to these main bosses there are 4 summonable "bosses" you need for various bits of the Zandalar faction quests/rewards

If your a mage, and you want to explore it (if your not high lvl for it or just want to go through the whole instance w/o monsters), you can blink past the entrance portal.

You just cant be in a grp(raid) and have to be lvl 50...just keep walking into the Entrance until you hit the invisible wall...then BAM...blink, and your in...

Monster free, no loading screen, fun to explore...

Only thing is that the instance looks different this way than how it really is...the Hakkar and Bloodlord place dont look like they should...and some of the screnery is missing...(Like the Crocodiles)

Ok first is the Snake (Venoxxis):

MT should assign targets for CC. I start from the left and assign mages sheep targets. The last target belongs to the MA. ONLY him and the MT go up the steps for the pull because too many people close to V will make him do him HELLA attack which increases in damage the more people it passes through. We had 1 guy in our group once take 26,000 damage.(yes 26k damage) So make sure there are just the 2 going up the steps for the pull. Venoxxis is tanked to the right of the steps (looking at the steps) with my back to the wall. ONLY the MT is to attack him until ALL the adds are killed. The adds are killed one at a time. Once the adds are dead have everyone go to the steps and go about 1/2 way up (not to the top)do ranged DPS only until he is at 50%. You should assign a shaman to purge when he attempts to do his Renew heal. Once he is at 50% he will change into the snake. The MT should kite him around the courtyard to avoid being caught in the gas clouds. The MT should be the only one doing any damage until the first cloud is dropped to allow him time to get aggro. About every 6 seconds he will drop another cloud, so melee DPS should run in and do DPS while counting to 6, back out and wait for the cloud to be dropped. Lather. Rinse. Repeat until dead.

Bloodlord:

Abilities:
Bloodlord has a whirlwind attack that he uses every so often that does about 1700 damage.
He will also announce that he is "Watching" someone. When he does this, that person should stop EVERYTHING. Unless that person is on the raptor or assigned to heal the person that is on the raptor. If the MT is being "Watched" everyone except the people on the raptor should stop EVERYTHING. Once the "Threatening Gaze" debuff is gone, everything returns to normal. If the person being "Watched" doesn't stop damage or healing, the Bloodlord will run to that person and 1shot them.
He will also level up everytime someone dies (and say "Grats" to himself) If you die by the Bloodlords damage you will get ressed by spirits that are in the area. If he "Dings" too many times, he will be unbeatable.

Positioning:
All ranged DPS and Healers should stand on the wall behind the spears to avoid a charge by the Bloodlord. Melee DPS and the MT should be in front odf the spears in the flat area. This is where the Bloodlord will be tanked and killed. The raptor needs to be offtanked behind the ranged DPS and the healers near the bamboo tree. There should be 2 tanks on him incase one goes down. DO NOT KILL THE RAPTOR BEFORE THE BLOODLORD! He will go into a rage and start 1shot killing everyone. Just OT the raptor and kill the bloodlord first, then kill the raptor last.

The Fight:
After you clear ALL the mobs between the door and the steps, Including the ones behind the spears on the wall. Kill the Speaker at the foot of the steps with out the healers using much if any of their mana. Once he is dead the Bloodlord and his raptor will come down and split up. Allow the MT and OT to get aggro with their respective targets and then DPS can begin. All mele DPS should be on the Bloodlord. Every 12-18 seconds he will do his whirlwind attack, back out until it is done and continue DPS. Do this until he is dead. I like to kite him around a little to minimize his charging. Fairly strait forward fight. Just make sure the person being "Watched" stops everything, except those assigned to the raptor or the raptor tank healers.

You need 3 Tanks for good measure (really only need 2)
Everyone huddle on eachother while the MT pulls the Boss, the only people outside the huddle should be the 2 tanks, no exceptions. As soon as boss is pulled 4 spiders spawn, Hunters need to multishot to pull these ads to the huddle, Kill them asap.
Typically the MT will call DPS (5 sunders and a few extra seconds) Blow her to hell.
Random spiders will spawn one at a time and run for the huddle, you need to TAB and kill these immediately. Everyone except the MT. The longer they stay alive the bigger and tougher they get. This holds true throughout the fight.
When The Boss Hits spider form she runs for the group after Netting the MT. If yoru Off Tank is on the ball he will taunt, bring her back to position. You must stop DPS. Wait for new tank to call DPS and start hammering on her. Meanwhile the other tank runs back towards the huddle to repeat the process. Repeat this process, The off tank has a very difficult job because sometimes she resists the taunt. She has a nast AOE spell that inflicts nature damage over time. Aspect of the wild and poison cleansing is a great idea.
She will eventually go back to Human form and you should stop dps for a moment and stabilize her. She will try and heal herself, you can see it and some Mods will tell you. Counterspell, Kick bite scratch her.. Dont let her heal. Basically these steps are repeated. If she happens to run through the off tank to the group she has no problem 2 shotting someone, be aware of your spot heals, feign death, bubble, fade. If you can execute this is a decent long fight (because of stops in DPS). It is not an easy fight but not impossible. Burning Blade Horde!

well...we tryed last week...first guild raid except LBRS....think wiped 4 times on Venoxis .... But we carried on...and yes best tactic i think is... tank pulls venoxis over to campfire, while rest of the raid just ganks the adds 1 by 1....then casters nuke Venoxis to 50% and then rogues etc move in....when that happens, for all you rogues....dont get into much of a swing at getting close i reckon about 4-5 second bursts at attacking best as in most raids Rogues arent focused healing targets so they have to watch their own back....but once you've got the hang of it its a fun fight and quite easy.... was hard for us since we had 1 warlock & 3 mages...1 level 57 mage ...saved us with good preparation if MT dies other tanks took over in an order we pre-organised..

u dont have to be attuned for Zul'Gurub m8.
only thing u need is to be higher than lvl 55 and a raid group.

Is no point to go somwhere in old wow istances if you want to gear up etc... Greens after lvl 65 are better than T2 and after 67 Naxx drops start sux. BUT if you have a time and nothing to do you can try solo Scholo (hard), Stratholme (easy accept Baron), Dire Maul (east is for 10 min on lvl 70), others you can pull allmost whole instance if you have some kind of aoe (im pala with +800 spell dmg gear and 15k armor). Its a good money when you are enchanter. For me is funny like hell when ppl on lvl 70 asking where is MC, BWL etc... Now is a lot of ppl who never killed Raggy, Nefy, C'thun... or even stupid baron in Stratholme. Blizz should make something with this. BWL was a best instance ever made and still is. Im missing a lot old big 40 man raid groups and instances where if you will lose 3-4 ppl you can still pass bosses not like now 2-3 ppl ded in SSC or TK = 95% wipe. Lot of ppl left wow becuse of insctances with incrised dificullty - like you are on 70, done all normal and heroics, Kazarhan, may be Grull and STOP. Im in good guild we are compl SSC and allmost TK but what is a cost - 5 days a week raids for 6 hours another 2 farming for consumables. Its starts to be not fun just like hard work. Where is a sense to crate instances and 0,5% palyers will ever see it and 0,1% will kill last bosses. Thats is a life in wow now.

Heres the oldie raid u should do no matter who you are. Its really fun and has some good loot. By the way, don't ya think ZA kinda knocks off ZG? Both u have to kill trolls with animals powers and u have to kill them all to fight last boss. This makes ZA and ZG incredibly similar. Well, whatever they r both fun

Tried doing this last night but the raid group fell apart when the "raid leader" started talking about setting it to master loot and telling people not to roll if a certain mount dropped.

by the time that was over we only had 4 people LOL going back in today though

Ok.. Me and a friend went in there to see and have fun. I'm a druid and he's a hunter. We could fight her and drop her health. I read we can interrupt her healing spell. Tried cyclone she's immune. With what can we interrupt her?

Sorry I don't know about every single of the bosses in the game and I'm not a WoW pro.lol

By the way, we're 80.

Most affordable way to gain reputation between bijous and coins:

One bijou is equivalent to five coins. Conclusion, if five coins are cheaper than one bijou, buy the coins and vice versa
