Be sure to talk to some of the guards while in the disguise, some lines are hilarious:
- "There's a little blood on your armor, are you okay?"
- "Keep your eyes peeled, they say that freak that was attacking people earlier might still be around."

When I did this I didn't realise I had a disguise so I just went and straight up killed the NPCs... Make sure to read the quest text, lulz.

One of the 'chats' the defenders have will ask where Grom-grom is, describing him as "an orc, about this tall". Most likely, they are referring to the dead orc Lakota killed to get her gear.

Also note that druids can be in flight form while doing this. Makes it a lot easier to get around!
